Real case · Document review
Audit workpapers ready for review.
For an audit and tax firm, we automated the generation and cross-checking of IMSS/Infonavit workpapers. Managers and partners review the evidence before approving.
The starting point
Preparing workpapers required assembling SUA, EMA/EBA, payroll CFDI files, and trial balances, then copying information between documents and spreadsheets.
What we connected
We generate and cross-check 27 native Excel workpapers, with live formulas and evidence linked to its source document. The review portal lets reviewers inspect sources and findings.

- Matching and checks
- Excel and evidence
- Review and approval
What a person decides
The manager or partner reviews findings, requests clarification, and decides whether to approve. Completing the workpapers does not certify compliance or replace professional judgment.
How to read the evidence
- Window
- October 12–26, 2026.
- Sample
- 17 audited entities included in the review portal.
- What is counted
- 27 .xlsx files per entity: 459 generated workpapers in total.
- Verification
- Excel files with formulas, SHA-256 digest manifests, and links to source documents.
- Limits
- The figure describes document coverage. It does not measure savings, tax accuracy, or auditor approval.
Does your team spend more time preparing than reviewing?
Bring an example file, its sources, and the step that consumes the most work. We identify what to measure and what must stay with the reviewer.
